Grand rising Gods and Godesses. Rashad has spoken about the importance of reclaiming the Afrikan magical practice of Hoodo. I have recently began to study this powerful practice and realise that it is THE KEY for us to reclaim our true place in the universe and restore Maat. The practice of Hoodoo is simply the ability to work intentionally with all of nature's frequencies - the elements, the mineral kingdom and the plant kingdom. It also deeply connects us us to Source, our ancestors and divinities so that our path is clear and we are guided towards our life purpose with joy, all the knowledge and skills we require, faith and confidence. Typically our Hoodoo priests and preistesses (Mambo) work with sacred leaves,seeds and barks, powders, oils and incense to create powerful bath mixtures, floor mixtures, candles and Mojo bags ( pouches filled with herbs and curios for a specific purpose). When practiced on a low level it is used to ensnare a lover or to take revenge on someone etc but on a higher level of use, we shield ourselves and our communities from injustice, manifest health and love, create abundance for ourselves and others and honour Tiamat. I resonate strongly with all things Khemetian so although I acknowledge the Orisha, I primarily work with the Khemetian divinities. The European saints were a cover for when we practiced during the period of our enslavement so it;s time for them to be discarded.
